Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before downloading or using the Quick ID Card mobile application and admin platform ("Service") operated by Quick ID Card ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of Quick ID Card, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, along with ourPrivacy PolicyandCopyright Notice. These terms apply to all users, including school administrators and teachers.
2. Description of Service
Quick ID Card is a school ID card management platform that enables:
- School administrators to import student data, design ID card templates, and export print-ready ID cards.
- Teachers to register with a school code and upload student profile photographs via the Android mobile app.
- Multi-school management from a single admin account with role-based access control.
3. User Accounts
To use Quick ID Card, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Teacher accounts require a valid school code issued by the school administrator. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. User Content & Data
You retain full ownership of all student data, photos, and content you upload to Quick ID Card ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display the content solely for the purpose of providing the ID card service to your school.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload student data and photographs, including any necessary parental or institutional consents.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Quick ID Card to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content involving minors.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the platform.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app.
- Use the service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized.
- Impersonate another user, school, or entity.
- Upload data for students belonging to a school other than your own.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other schools' data.
6. Intellectual Property
The Quick ID Card application, including its design, features, source code, graphics, icons, ID card templates, and branding, is the exclusive property of Quick ID Card and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Exported ID card images generated for your students are yours to use for school identification purposes. They may not be resold or distributed commercially.
7. Privacy
Your use of Quick ID Card is governed by ourPrivacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described therein.
8. App Updates
We may release updates to the Quick ID Card app to add features, fix bugs, or address security issues. We recommend keeping the app updated to the latest version. We are not liable for issues arising from use of outdated versions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Quick ID Card is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quick ID Card and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data or student records. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Service in the preceding twelve months.
11. Data Loss
We take reasonable precautions to prevent data loss, but we strongly recommend schools maintain their own backups of student data. We are not liable for any loss of student data due to technical failures, accidental deletion, or other events.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Quick ID Card at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
